Research Interests
My research is centered around coldwater fish habitat in Upper Midwestern glacial lakes, and bridges limnology, fisheries ecology, and climate science. I use big data and modeling to investigate interannual variability in oxythermal habitat conditions across temporal and spatial scales. My recent work looks at how teleconnections from global climate patterns filter down across space and time to impact lake processes.
